Getting close 💍👰

oh my gee!! We're has this last year and a few months gone? It seems like just yesterday {{05.01.12}} that me and jake got engaged. We've been slowly counting down the days/months and now it's so close and I'm starting to freak.

We have 26 days until the big day. I've had a lot of changes made since we first started all the planning. My theme has completely changed and gone in a new direction that I love. My original theme was burlap and lace. My original dress was lace and so that's where my theme was going. We'll the dress turned out to not be the one; so my mom talked me into going to look for another one.....we'll I did and i FELL IN LOVE!! It fit unlike my original dress and i could actually see what I was going to look like on my wedding day. 👰 

It's made me so happy that my mother has gone above and beyond for us in planing this wedding and making it the best I could have imagined. my venue is amazing and everything I could have hopped for.

I had my bridal shower on August 24th. I love my girls that showed up. Out of the 20 invited, only 5 came. I'm glad that they showed up! I

So yesterday was a sick day around this household. Its never been that we were both sick at the same time, but it was nice to have just a day with us four (us & the pups) at the house all day. I wish it was like this more often. Its nice having him home at night. Weeknights hes not home because he works till 2am..I wish he would go to first shift or back to weekends. But weekend shifts comes with consequences. We wouldn't be able to do stuff of the weekends anymore..but that also means saving money...so its kinda a catch 22, which sucks. Its been really hard with him not being here at night. I usually dont know what to do with myself. I come home from work/practice and all I want to do is just lay in the bed and watch tv. I don't wanna clean, I don't wanna cook..nothing. I need to be more motivated...and well...im just not.

So since it was a sick day around here. I decided to get some things done. I decided to go ahead and start our Wedding Registry. I honestly wasn't going to do one, until my aunt & my cousin told me that I needed to and that they were going to throw me my Bridal Shower...so how could I not?? So here is my registry & here is our wedding website! I'm so excited to get a lot of this stuff done :) Now just gotta do more stuff for the actual wedding & then be done :)

That's right. We're getting married :) I am so happy to finally get a lot of stuff planned, now I just gotta finalize a lot and actually make my decorations & all. We've been slowly buying stuff on the weekends with ideas that I get from Pinterest. Can't wait to pull all the ideas together and see how they turn out. I'm making this a DIY weddings. I've had no wedding planner help... doing it all on my own <3 A little over 8 months to go ; ahhh so real!!!
